  1. That was pretty awesome. I love a good nostalgic video. While I can't relate to the love of a lot of those older teams, this video immediately made me remember watching baseball games as a child. I used to beg my parents to take me to the stadium the minute it opened so I could watch batting practice and cram down as close to the field as I could to try and get an autograph or a ball from one of the player playing catch.

  2. Oh yeah, absolutely. I was the same way. I pleaded every year to go to a game and finally got mom and dad to take me to my first one in '93 at Riverfront. Jose Rijo pitched that day, got the win, and homered into the second deck in left field. The Reds won 6-3 over Tony Gwynn and the Padres that day. I got to see players like Chris Sabo, Barry Larkin, Hal Morris, Jacob Brumfield, Bip Roberts, Joe Oliver and Rob Dibble. My next game wasn't until '96, and then I became a frequent visitor as I got older.

  3. My first reds game was in riverfront against the Mets. Eric Davis and Daryl strawberry were my favorite players. Strawberry hit a rocket over the center field wall and Davis had two hits along with an incredible diving catch in center. I was sitting down the third base line about 10 rows up. I still remember small things about that game, more so than any reds game I've been to since and I've been to a lot of them. The sight of the field for the first time was like getting my first look into heaven and I remember thinking to myself, promising myself, that I would one day play here. Can't blame a kid for dreaming. The video was awesome thanks Ryan
