San Diego 11 11 0
Cincinnati 5 7 1

I'm behind on these game recaps from a busy last few days and I sure as heck don't want to spend long discussing this one. So here is what you need to know:
- Leake lasted 1.2 innings. Yeah. That's right. He was given a three run lead by his offense after the 1st inning and then promptly gave it up in the 2nd inning by throwing batting practice for the Padres. He allowed five runs on five hits and walked three before being replaced after recording only five outs in the game. Pathetic.
- Alfredo Simon apparently wasn't quite ready to enter the game so soon (who would be?) as he also had a terrible day. He gave up five runs on four hits and walked three in two and one-third innings. Ugh.
- Umpiring at the plate was not good at all. Devin Mesoraco was fired up about it. He decided to let umpire Chad Fairchild know about it and did so in a not-so-mild manner. Devin barely touched the chest protector of Fairchild with his fingertips while pointing during his rant and was immediately tossed. This caused the fury to be unleashed as Dusty literally had to get in the middle of the action to keep Mesoraco from going after Fairchild. Big league umpires are the biggest sissies in all organized sports. Hands down.
- Stubbs continued his tear and is wanting to get a second straight NL Player of the Week award. He went 2-for-5 with a homer, an RBI, and two runs scored.
- Bruce reached base four times as he tried to break out of his slump in a big way. He homered, doubled, and walked twice.
