Box Score

  • Recap
    • Mike Leake: 6.0 IP, 4 R, 6 H, 2 BB, 1 SO.  Not terrible, but not good against a terrible team.
    • J.J. Hoover: Something was awry with him in this one.  He walked the bases loaded and just was not the J.J. we've come to know and love.  But he is a rookie and I think we can give him a break on this one.  Plus, we won the game in the end anyway.
    • Sam LeCure: Magnificent.  1.1 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 3 SO.  He is on it right now.
    • Drew Stubbs:  3-for-5 with three runs scored, an RBI (40), his 30th stolen base and the game winning RBI-single in the top half of the 11th inning.  What a great game for Drew. Hopefully it restores at least a little confidence.
    • Joey Votto: Reached base four times (what else is new?) with two walks and two hits including another double (40) and get this, three RBI (52)!  Joey is finally off the snide and has knocked some runners home now for the first time since returning from his injury!
    • Scotty Rolen also had a pair of hits and an RBI (37)
